Hamilton's second collaboration with the franchise puts Captain Price's watch into a 38mm Khaki Field with a black PVD case and a hand-wound caliber.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hamilton announced a 38mm Khaki Field Mechanical made with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 on September 17. It goes on sale on October 23, the same day the game is published, so for a month all that exists of the watch are the official images, the reference H69469930 and the list prices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Khaki Field collection descends from the watches Hamilton, founded in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, in 1892, built for the United States Army during the Second World War. That is where the design the brand keeps repeating comes from: a matte black dial, large Arabic numerals and a twenty-four-hour scale on the inner ring. The company now manufactures in Switzerland and belongs to the Swatch Group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hamilton has also spent decades placing watches in film and television, and that work produced the Khaki Field Murph, which began as a movie prop and ended up in the catalog. The first Call of Duty collaboration arrived in 2025, an automatic Khaki Field with the H-10 caliber tied to Black Ops 7. The case is 38mm across, 9.5mm thick and 47mm lug to lug, in steel with a black PVD coating over a sandblasted surface that leaves it free of reflections. The crystal is sapphire with an anti-reflective treatment and water resistance is 50 meters. The solid caseback is engraved with the franchise soundwave. On the dial, black and heavily grained, the numeral at 4 uses the typography of the Modern Warfare 4 logo, the only nod to the game visible while the watch is on the wrist. The numerals, markers and hands carry Super-LumiNova X2. The strap is khaki green textile with a steel pin buckle in the same black PVD, on 20mm lugs. The H-50 caliber<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Inside is the H-50, a hand-wound caliber with no rotor and no date, with an 80-hour power reserve. That figure is high for a mechanical watch under a thousand dollars: a watch left on Friday night is still running on Monday morning. It beats at 21,600 vibrations per hour (3 Hz), has 17 jewels and includes hacking seconds, which stops the hand when the crown is pulled out and allows the time to be set to the second. The balance spring is Nivachron, the titanium-based alloy the Swatch Group presented in 2018 together with Audemars Piguet and CSEM, and which, according to the Federation of the Swiss Watch Industry, reduces the influence of magnetic fields by a factor of 10 to 20 depending on the caliber.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What the edition costs extra<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The standard 38mm Khaki Field Mechanical, reference H69439931, costs 675 dollars, 625 euros and 13,390 pesos on Hamilton's sites. The Modern Warfare 4 edition costs 795 dollars, 750 euros and 16,390 pesos, between 18 and 22 percent more depending on the market. What that difference buys is the black PVD coating, which appears on none of the standard references in the 38mm family, the grained dial, the engraved caseback and the leather case. A Khaki Field Mechanical is, with or without a video game, one of the more sensible entry-level mechanical watches at that price. Its 38mm diameter and 47mm lug to lug fit almost any wrist, and hand winding demands a daily gesture that an automatic does not: the most direct way to understand that there is a real mainspring inside driving everything else. The collaboration changes one thing: the reason a twenty-year-old in Monterrey, Bogot\u00e1 or Madrid stops in front of a hand-wound watch for the first time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When it reaches stores<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

October 23 is the date Hamilton lists across its websites, and the Mexican list price is published a month before the watch arrives in stores.
