In August, Casio released eight new G-Shock models for the Asian market all at once. There was no event, no grand premiere—just eight new references, each with its own distinct profile and market rationale. They do not all target the same buyer, nor do they all carry the same price tag; and—most relevantly for those reading this from Latin America—they very likely will not all make the journey across the Pacific.
This launch comprises three groups: the Master of Horizon Gold collection, two versions of the G-Steel GST-B1000 featuring resin straps, and three models making a comeback with their own unique positioning. Categorizing these groups helps clarify exactly what is being launched and for whom.

The Photogenic Group: Master of Horizon Gold
The three Master of G watches share a visual approach Casio has worked before: Carbon Core Guard cases with stainless steel bezel parts finished in yellow-gold ion-plating. The result is chunky, functional, and visually assertive within the lineup. The GG-B100XMH-5A is the most feature-loaded (Bluetooth, step counter, Triple Sensor — altimeter and barometer, compass, thermometer). The GR-B300H-5A goes the opposite route: full analog display and Tough Solar, no visible digital screen. The GW-9500MH-5 is the closest in spirit to a Pro Trek: duplex LCD, Multi-Band 6, and Triple Sensor in one package.
These are field watches. Whether gold-finished bezels belong on expedition-grade hardware is a fair question — and the answer depends more on the wearer than on the watch.

The Ones Already Aimed at the West: GST-B1000
The two resin-band GST-B1000 variants are the strongest candidates for distribution outside Asia. G-Shock UK has already listed both as "coming soon," signaling intent well beyond the Asian market. The spec worth noting: these resin-band models weigh 58 grams total — 14 grams lighter than a GM-2100, and only 6 grams more than a DW-5600 in full resin. For a watch with a Carbon Core Guard case, full analog display, Tough Solar, and Bluetooth, that's a meaningful argument the metal-bracelet version can't make. The existing GST-B1000D sells in the US at $440 USD; these lighter variants may land at a similar or different price when USD pricing is announced. No confirmed number yet.

The Returning Models: GD-350S and GMA-P2110B
The GD-350S-1 deserves a separate note: it's the only non-MIP LCD G-Shock with vibration alerts (Vibe Alarm), a feature that matters in environments where sound isn't an option. Not announced for Japan — and Casio has historically aimed the GD-350 line at the US market, where it has been active and widely sold. That makes it a reasonable candidate for LATAM distribution through US channels. The GD-350S-1 has a white face with red accents, a retro look that marks it clearly as distinct within the current catalog. It's the first new GD-350 since 2023.
The two GMA-P2110B women's models feature inner and outer metallic bezel rings in a monochromatic style. The brown GMA-P2110B-5A, with white hands and a positive LCD display, offers better legibility than the black GMA-P2110B-1A. Neither is announced for Japan, and international availability for both remains the most uncertain of the eight.

Latin America and Spain Perspective
G-Shock operates official distribution across the region: Mexico (gshock.mx), Colombia (Casio by Timesquare, TITEC), Argentina, and Spain. The brand's track record suggests G-Steel models and the GD-350 line reach the region more reliably than special-colorway Master of G releases, which sometimes stay limited to Japan and Asia. What's clear today: no USD price has been confirmed for any of the eight references, and no regional distributor has announced availability. The yen prices are real; converting them to local currency requires knowing the exchange rate and import duties applicable in each country — figures that need verification with the local distributor before any purchase plans. For buyers who can't wait, grey market platforms and Chrono24 are options, with no official warranty coverage.
The verdict from ORELO
Of the eight, the two GST-B1000 resin-band variants are the safest bet for buyers hoping to find them locally. The reasoning is straightforward: G-Shock UK has acknowledged them publicly, and the G-Steel line has a solid international distribution record. The GD-350S-1 is the most technically interesting of the group for the relative rarity of its Vibe Alarm function, and it has precedent for sale in Western markets. The Master of Horizon Gold trio is visually striking but less likely to reach LATAM official distribution in the near term. If any of the eight are calling to you from Asia, check with your local distributor before arranging a personal import.
