The third watch Oris has developed with Disney's The Muppets runs on the Calibre 115, an in-house hand-wound movement with ten days of power reserve.
Turn the crown and the coils of the mainspring draw together inside an open barrel near the top of the dial, where tiny laser-etched marks along the edge of that 1.8-metre spring gradually align into Gonzo's grinning face. As the power reserve runs down and the chilli-pepper hand approaches zero, the image scatters once more.

Oris introduced the watch on 2 September 2026, during Geneva Watch Days, as its third collaboration with Disney's The Muppets. Unlike the two that came before, which staged the character's appearance on the dial or through the caseback, this time the effect takes place inside the movement.

The Muppets series
The series began at Watches and Wonders 2023 with the ProPilot X Kermit Edition, a 39mm titanium watch running the Calibre 400, where the frog turns up in the date window on the first of every month, at around USD 4,600. January 2025 brought the Miss Piggy Edition in 34mm steel, with a pink dial and a spyhole in the caseback revealing her portrait on a lilac rotor, close to USD 3,200.

This third instalment sits at the top of the collection. The ProPilot X line was launched in 2019 around the Calibre 115 itself, the 44mm titanium reference built as a showcase for the in-house movement, and the line later expanded downward with the 39mm version and the 34mm case introduced by Miss Piggy. The two standard Calibre 115 references are currently listed by Oris at USD 9,000 and USD 9,400.

The gradient and the chapter ring
The ProPilot X is a watch of flat planes and hard edges, with an integrated bracelet that continues the case line without a visible break, and that angular language takes colour well. The standard model is monochrome and lets the architecture of the movement do the work; this edition covers it in a gradient running from blue through red to yellow, drawn from the character's fur and his fondness for clashing patterns, while the laser-textured chapter ring shifts tone with the angle of the light.
The smaller details carry the reference to the character most convincingly. The power reserve hand is a chilli pepper lifted from one of Gonzo's better-known shirts, and the scale counts the autonomy in "GREAT" days, a nod to his stage name. The whole asks for an unhurried read, since a 44mm skeletonised dial carrying a three-colour gradient and a shifting chapter ring holds considerable visual density, a trait the standard Calibre 115 already had and that this version heightens.

Ten days from a single barrel
The movement is the substance of the release, and its origin lies in 2014, when Oris presented the Calibre 110 for its 110th anniversary. It was the brand's first in-house movement in roughly thirty-five years, built in a run of 110 steel and 110 gold pieces, and it set out two decisions the family has kept since: drawing ten days of running time from a single barrel, where watches in that range usually split the load across two, and doing it with a mainspring measuring 1.8 metres when unwound.

The Calibre 115 belongs to that family and retains its 34mm diameter and 3 Hz beat rate. The interesting consequence of a single barrel is that torque is not delivered evenly across those ten days, which is where the non-linear power reserve indicator comes from. The scale is unevenly divided, and the hand travels more slowly while the spring is tightly wound and speeds up as the energy drops, so the reading tracks the real state of the movement rather than an arithmetic division of the time remaining.
The Gonzo etching exists because of that same architecture, since only an open, visible barrel allows the markings to sit on the edge of the mainspring and be seen compressing as the watch is wound. Hand winding is part of the proposition: with ten days of autonomy the routine comes down to once a week, and that weekly gesture is precisely what brings the character's face into view.

Availability in our region
The official price is USD 10,500 on the Oris site for the United States and MXN 210,000 on the Mexican site. Because that figure is published by the official channel, buyers in Mexico do not have to estimate duties and import taxes on their own, which is uncommon at this price level. Oris has official distribution in Mexico through El Palacio de Hierro, Liverpool and authorised boutiques, and an established network in Spain, where European coverage places the list price at roughly EUR 8,500 including VAT. The brand has announced no production limit, so this is not a numbered edition.

The verdict from ORELO
The gap between this and the standard Calibre 115 on bracelet is USD 1,100, and that sum buys a new dial, a power reserve hand designed for the occasion and an engraving on the mainspring that exists on no other watch in the catalogue. It is a watch for the collector who was already following the ten-day movement and who finds in the character reference reason enough to choose this version over the monochrome one. Anyone who prefers the Calibre 115 in its plainer form will find it in the regular catalogue, with the same movement and the same titanium case.
